I've done many things people would consider adventurous like swimming with sharks, flying in a leer jet, cliff jumping into deep jungle rivers, and living in a thatch house - in a Ketchi Village called Boom Creek.

But traveling to a place I'd never been, all on my own, to follow a tiny spark of a dream, was definitely at the top of my "Adventure" list.

At 16 I graduated high school, and then worked to receive my license in Dental Assistance. It didn't take me long though, to realize that although I liked my job I didn't love it. Instead of continuing on that path that I was unsure of, I decided to follow my heart, and take an opportunity that had sprung up for me.
I stepped outside of my comfort zone, hopped on a plane, and enrolled In a course, focusing on Modern Day Slavery and human rights for Human-Trafficking victims.

Join me as I continue my adventure working at a local Mission in Punta Gorda, following my passion and keeping my heart open to opportunities working with and helping victims of Human Trafficking.
